His father was a choir director but he could not fulfill his dream. He currently works in a private bank. Apart from being a music enthusiast, Herald is an excellent writer and composer, which made Nihal develop an interest in music since his childhood. Career
Nihal has participated in many music reality shows at a young age and gained popularity. He was one of the finalists for the telecast of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa season 15 on Zee Kannada. He also won the Daijiworld Studio Voice title. Nihal had also bagged the title of Voice of Udupi. In 2019, he made his debut in the film industry by giving voice to the song Naa Huduko Naale in the film Premier Padmini, composed by Arjun Janya.
