A notoriously aggressive otter known for attacking surfers by nibbling on their surfboards has given birth to an adorable new cub.

Otter 841 was captured by photographer Mark Woodward on Wednesday while swimming in Santa Cruz, California, with her new pup on her chest.

The otter was known to attack surfers and bite their boards.

“Once I realized it was her, I let out a little shrike. I said, ‘WOW!’ and then I felt like she was starting to get me a little emotional,” she told KMPH. “I feel a little proud, dad.”
