The Mangi family from Larkana, Pakistan have something in common that goes beyond their last name. According to Guinness World Records, father, Ameer Ali, and mother, Khudeja, with seven children aged 19-30, Sindhoo, twin girls Sasui and Sapna, Aamir, Ambar and twin boys Ammar and Ahmar, surprisingly have the same birthday. : August 1.

This is a world record for the largest number of siblings born on the same day. Ameer and Khudeja are celebrating their wedding anniversary on this important day. They were married on her birthday in 1991, exactly one year before the birth of their eldest daughter.

The seven Mangi brothers also hold the record for the most siblings born on the same day. The previous record was held by five children born on February 20 between 1952 and 1966 in the Cummins family (USA). Until the Mangi family was discovered, this was the only known case of a family having five children with identical birthdays.

Ameer was “surprised and delighted” when Sindhoo, his first child, was born on August 1, 1992, the same day as he and his wife. Both he and Khudeja were startled when each consecutive birth occurred on the same day. They considered it a “gift from God.” All the children were conceived and delivered naturally. Neither was born prematurely by caesarean section, nor was Khudeja’s labor induced prematurely.

Having two sets of twins, let alone twins with the same birthday, is extremely rare. Ameer and Khudeja were “quite surprised” when their twin sons, Ammar and Ahmar, were born in 2003, five years after their twin daughters, Sasui and Sapna.

This is the sixth confirmed case of a mother giving birth to two sets of twins with identical birthdays, tying the record for the most twins born on the same day.

He claims that having the same birthday “has proven to be very lucky” for his family.
