It took inflight entertainment to eccentric new heights.

A passenger hijacked the intercom system of a delayed Jetstar plane and strangely serenaded the cabin with an unsolicited rendition of Edith Piaf’s “La Vie en Rose,” according to a video that went viral Friday.

In a moment fitting for the movie “Bridesmaids,” the woman is seen singing the classic French tune near the front of the cabin as travelers laugh and stare wide-eyed.

“What the hell is going on?” wrote passenger Conor Clarke on TikTok.

“The flight was delayed 2 hours and now this hippie is singing,” he added, along with footage of the bizarre performance.

“She didn’t even do the applications,” he joked.

The video was viewed more than 1.2 million times before Clarke removed it on Friday.

A spokesman for the Australian airline apologized for the delay and warned that the girl’s show was against the rules, according to news.com.au.

“While we enjoyed the impromptu entertainment on board and this customer channeling their inner Edith Piaf, the PA system should only be used by the crew, so this has to be something unique,” he said.

Others compared the concert in the cabin to a scene from “Bridesmaids” in which Kristen Wiig’s character, Annie Walker, takes a pill to alleviate her fear of flying and ends up humming an impromptu song and slurring to the first-class crowd. class.
