We’ve all been in a position where we had to cancel our plane tickets. It’s frustrating to cancel tickets, not because the plan is canceled but because of the cancellation fees and the whole process.
Sometimes we get a full refund and sometimes none at all. But with this IAS Officer, something unique happened when he canceled his ticket.
IAS officer Rahul Kumar shared a screenshot of the refund he received after canceling the plane ticket. he wrote: “Please suggest some good investment plans for my refund.” He also posted a screenshot of the email from the airline.

The IAS officer received only Rs 20 for the ticket he had bought for Rs 13,820. According to the screenshot he uploaded, he paid the money after receiving a reduction of Rs 1,138. The cancellation fee for the airline was Rs 11,800, the GI cancellation fee was Rs 1,200 and the convenience fee was Rs 800. He only got Rs 20 back because the cancellation fee was Rs 13,800.
This viral tweet captivated many people on social media and got a mixed reaction. While some users suggested where he could invest all his money, others couldn’t stop laughing.

And the internet community responded with even more sarcasm! Some advised him to buy shares in well-known corporations, while others advised him to invest in chili peppers!
One of the users suggested that you can buy shares of Yes Bank and Vodafone Idea. Another said that this was the funniest tweet he had seen today. There is another comment that might make you laugh a lot: the man says that Rahul can buy Suzlon shares that could go up to 2x 3x 4x and he asked him to imagine the money he will get later.
