Monday night’s Powerball jackpot drawing soared to $810 million, the fifth largest in the game’s history, according to the lottery.

The one-time cash payment now amounts to $408.9 million. The drawing will take place at 10:59 pm ET.

The sizeable jackpot has increased after 34 draws without a winner.

The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million, the lottery estimates.

Although no one took home the final jackpot of 2023, five people won $1 million. Tickets were sold in Colorado, New York, Ohio, South Carolina and Tennessee.

According to the lottery, two people from Texas and West Virginia won $2 million each, 67 won $50,000 prizes and 20 won $200,000 prizes.

The last jackpot was won on October 11 for $1.765 million in California. It was the biggest award of the year.

The largest prize ever won was won on November 7, 2022 in California for $2.04 billion, according to the lottery.

Edwin Castro, 31, won the jackpot and took his friends on a luxury trip to Fiji with his winnings. Castro took home a life-changing $997.6 million after choosing the lump sum payment option.
