Prem Chand Bairwa, born August 31, 1969, is an Indian politician affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is currently serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of the state of Rajasthan. He serves as a member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, representing the Dudu Vidhan Sabha constituency in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Biography
Premchand Bairwa, a resident of Srinivasipura in Maujmabad tehsil, comes from a typical Dalit family. His political journey began with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and, in 1995, he dedicated his efforts to the Dudu Block Organization. Serving as a Zilla Parishad member from Dudu District 15 in 2000 marked an important milestone in his political career. Later, he took up roles such as Jaipur district president of the SC Morcha and divisional general secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
In the year 2013, when the Dudu assembly was reserved for the SC category, Premchand Bairwa emerged victorious by defeating the Congress candidate with a substantial margin of more than 33 thousand votes.
