Birth and early life
Priyam Garg was born on November 30, 2000 in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. His father Naresh Garg runs a school van in Meerut. His mother Kusum Devi passed away in 2012 due to illness. He has three elder sisters named Pooja Garg, Reshu Garg and Jyoti Garg and there is also an elder brother Shivam Garg in the family. Priyam studied in Meerut Public School and received his cricket education from coach Sanjay Rastogi.

Cricket career
Priyam’s cricket career started with many problems; Initially his father did not allow him to play cricket, but he used to have full support from his mother. His mother wholeheartedly wanted his son to play matches for the Indian team. He was groomed by Sanjay Rastogi’s cricket academy.
Priyam made a place for himself in India U-19 and U-22. He played his debut first-class, List A and T20 match for the Uttar Pradesh cricket team.
Priyam made his first-class debut in the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy on 1 November 2018. He made his List A debut in the 2018-19 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 19 September 2018 and scored 287 runs in just 6 matches. . Priyam made his T20 debut in the 2018-19 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on 21 February 2019. His name was included in the 2019-20 Duleep India Green’s Squad Trophy in August 2019.
IPL career
Priyam started the IPL in 2020 with Sunrisers Hyderabad where Sunrisers Hyderabad included him in their team for Rs 1.90 crore and he was once again signed by Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2021 IPL. In 2022, Priyam was bought back by Sunrisers Hyderabad at a base price of 20 lakhs and gave him a chance to play for the team.
