A respected Republican legal activist was stabbed to death in the neck inside his New Hampshire home this weekend, according to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office.

Attorney Alexander Talcott, 41, was found dead inside his home in Durham early Saturday morning, the state’s attorney general said, according to NBC 10 Boston.

Talcott was named the organization’s leader in New Hampshire in 2021, WMUR previously reported.

His friend Chris Ager told WMUR that Talcott always wanted to lend a helping hand.
