Rithvik Dhanjani was born on November 5, 1988 in Madhya Pradesh to Sindhi parents. Later his family moved to Dubai. He later went on to City of London College, England, to finish his education. Dhanjani was inspired to work in the entertainment industry since her college years. He modeled, acted, and hosted during his college years. Dhanjani was involved in theater for two and a half years in Dubai, but soon after moved to Mumbai to pursue acting full-time. He completed his acting training from Kishore Namit Kapoor Institute in Mumbai and then joined the entertainment and television industry.

Career
Dhanjani debuted as an actor on the small screen with a negative role of Parth in Ekta Kapoor’s show Bandini. His acting career started gaining momentum after his portrayal of the antagonist Jeh Khurana in the supernatural-themed TV show ‘Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani’ in 2010. He became a household name after his work in Pavitra Rishta, where he played Arjun’s role. Digvijay Kirloskar, one of the protagonists of the show.
In 2012, Dhanjani participated in the reality show Jhalal Dikhla Jaa season 5 and secured third place at the end of the season. She hosted the show India’s Best Dramebaaz seasons 1 and 2. She returned for an episode of Jhalak Dikhla Ja season 6.
Dhanjani gained popularity among young adults in 2013 when she began hosting Bindass’ Yeh Hai Aashiqui, which featured an anthology of a variety of romantic drama stories created by Vikas Gupta. He returned to participate in Nach Baliye 6 and also furthered his career as a dancer. Dhanjani worked on MTV’s Fannah, another supernatural-themed horror television series aimed at the young adult demographic and played the character of Vidyut.
