So far the cause of death of Rosa Peral’s mother is unknown, however, her daughter and husband talk about her in some moments of the documentary.
Likewise, Rosa regrets some situations she experienced with her mother, as she comments; “All of that was hurting him a lot. Seeing that I couldn’t leave here, seeing these types of restrictions, seeing everything that has been happening to me, everything that has been said…”
Likewise, during Rosa’s trial, for the murder of Pedro Rodríguez, Peral’s mother did not grow up and did not testify before the judge, since she was not mentally well.

Also, Peral’s father stated that his wife did not understand what was happening around his daughter’s crime, since for her her daughter was always innocent.
“My wife always told me ‘but why does she have to be inside if my daughter hasn’t done anything?’ And of course, how do you explain it to her if she doesn’t have a good head? The truth is that it was very hard,” said Francisco.
The only detail surrounding the death of Peral’s mother is that the woman underwent surgery, which she could not stand and died a few days after performing it. Likewise, there are no public photographs of the mother.
