Patel acted in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya and portrayed the character of Kokila Parag Modi, more commonly called ‘Kokilaben. She is the owner of a theater group called ‘Panorama Art Theatres’, this theater is associated with children’s plays. Patel has also worked in several films like Mammo (1994), Samar (1999), Antarnaad (1991).
