Trader Joe’s recalls two popular goods due to concerns that they may contain rocks. Customers in possession of Trader Joe’s almond windmill cookies and Trader Joe’s dark chocolate chunks and almond cookies were encouraged to dispose of them.
“Our supplier has notified us…that product with the sell by date codes listed below may contain rocks,” according to a statement on Trader Joe’s website. The almond windmill cookies in question have an expiration date between October 19, 2023, and October 21, 2023.
Dark chocolate chunks and almond biscuits expiring from October 17, 2023, to October 21, 2023, were advised to be avoided. According to the statement, all products potentially implicated by the recall have been removed and destroyed from Trader Joe’s locations.
Customers were also urged to dispose of the product or return it to Trader Joe’s for a full refund.
