Former White House press secretary and current Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders will endorse her former boss, Donald Trump, at his rally in Hialeah, Florida, on Wednesday night, her office told The Post on Tuesday.
Sanders, 41, was Trump’s chief spokesman from July 2017 to July 2019 before winning the Arkansas governorship in 2022.
“It is no longer a question between right and left. “It’s normal versus crazy, and President Biden and the left are doubling down on crazy,” Sanders said in a statement.
“The time has come to return to the normal policies of the Trump era, which created a safer, stronger and more prosperous America, and that is why I am proud to endorse Donald Trump for president.”
Trump’s rally in Hialeah will serve as counterprogramming to the third Republican primary debate in downtown Miami, about 10 miles away.

The 77-year-old former president has skipped all three debates, citing his large lead in Republican Party primary polls.
Sanders had kept his powder dry on his endorsement for nearly a year after Trump launched his 2024 campaign on Nov. 15, 2022, a week after his election victory in Arkansas.
His long-standing neutrality had irritated Trump, who values loyalty among his current and former lieutenants, according to multiple reports.
In September, Sanders repeatedly declined to endorse the 45th president during an appearance on Fox News, saying her “focus has been on being governor of Arkansas.”

His endorsement comes on the heels of Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds’ successful endorsement of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Monday.
The endorsement of a sitting Iowa governor before the state’s Republican caucuses last occurred in 1996, when then-Gov. Terry Branstad endorsed Bob Dole, although Branstad also called for Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) to be defeated in 2016.
Trump’s team ignored Reynolds’ endorsement, underscoring his dominance in the polls in the Hawkeye State.
The former president applauded Sanders for finally giving her his support.
“We had great success in the White House and it is an honor to have Sarah’s support. I hope to have her at the big rally in Hialeah this Wednesday,” Trump said in a statement.

Sanders’ predecessor as Arkansas governor, Asa Hutchinson, has also been vying for the party’s nod, but failed to make the cut for the second and third debates.
Sanders is also the daughter of former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, who ran unsuccessfully for president in 2008 and 2016.
Trump currently has the endorsement of six sitting governors, the most of any candidate in the Republican race.
