Sasha Hurtado was born on December 2, 2003 in Dallas, GA. to a multicultural military family of music lovers. Her father is Mexican and her mother was born in Florida. She grew up listening to classic rock ‘n’ roll and mariachi. Sasha began learning music at the age of 9 and sang in church with her brother. She began performing at age 14, and her first concert took place in a pub (where they made an exception because of her age). Ella Sasha participated in a singing workshop at the world-famous Jan Smith Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, where she was selected as one of the top voice students to sing at Jan Smith’s Talent Showcase.
Sasha has become a seasoned performer with experience on stages and venues throughout Georgia. In 2017 and 2019, she was selected for a final executive call for seasons 14 and 18 of The Voice. In 2022, she appeared as a contestant on the reality television show The Voice 22.
