Several Republicans have called for the revocation of visas of foreign citizens living in the United States who support Hamas or its allies following the terrorist group’s attack on Israel on October 7.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, one of Scott’s rivals in the 2024 Republican presidential primary, vowed last week to cancel the visas of any foreign students who “praise Hamas, when I’m president.”
