Shail Hada was born on April 11, 1975 in Kota, Rajasthan. His father, Shri Jaswant Singh Hada, is a musician. He attended St. Paul’s Mala Road School in Kota. He did his master’s degree in music from Kota University. He studied Sangeet Visharad at Gandharava Mahavidyalya under the guidance of his guru Pundit Aaskaran Sharma.

Career
Shail got his first break with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in his film Black in 2005. He got the opportunity to sing the title song Saawariya, which was a hit. She then gave Bollywood a series of hit songs. She sang Tera Zikr Hai, Guzaarish, Saiba, Udi, Keh Na Saku in the film Guzaarsih. She also presented the film Sarbjit Mera Junoon, Sarbjit Theme, Barsan Laagi, Tung Lak, Meherbaan. Shail has given her voice in several films including Lafangey Parinde, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, Goliyon ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, Padmaavat and more.
Shail has been working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali since 2005. He has also worked as an assistant music director to Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She worked as Senior Assistant Music Director in the film Guzaarish.
