Shakeel Siddiqui was born on May 26, 1964 in Karachi, Pakistan. He started his career with the theater artist in various stage dramas like Dulhan Main Lekar Jaonga. Shakeel also worked with Indian comedians such as Johnny Lever. He became known with the stage dramas Beauty Parlour, Budha Ghar pay hai, Chand baraye Farokht and Nayi Ami Puranay Abba.
Before appearing in Comedy Circus, Shakeel had worked closely with comedian Umer Sharif in Pakistani plays such as Bakra Qistoon Pay (Goat on installments), Yeh to Housefull Ho Gaya (Full House), Nayee Ammi Purana Abba (New Mother Old Father). etc
