History
Its story revolves around a Panchayat chief ‘Gangaram’ who voluntarily goes into the forest to save his poverty-stricken family. The film is based on a real incident that occurred in the Pilibhit Tiger Reserve in 2017, where the reserve authorities suspected that local families were sending elderly members to the forest as tiger prey in exchange for compensation.
