Career
Shilpa started her career in the television industry in the year 2001 with the show Kabhi Aaye Na Judaai with the role of Amrita. She but she rose to fame with the show Bhabhi (2002-2008) and then later she worked in several other shows like Amarpali (2002), Hatim (2003), Miss India (2004) and many more. Shilpa debuted in the film industry with the Telugu film Chinna in the year 2001 and she also worked in the film Shivani, directed by Suresh Verma.
His breakthrough role was as Koyal Narayan in the SAB television show Chidiya Ghar (2011), where he starred alongside Paresh Ganatra. The other role that made her most popular was Angoori Bhabhi, where she played the lead role in the comedy television show Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai in the year 2005, after that she became a popular face in all homes.
In 2017, she participated in the 11th season of Colors TV show Big Boss, with popular contestants like Hina Khan, Vikas Gupta, Priyank Sharma and many more. He won the Big Boss 11 title against Hina Khan in the grand finale. In 2022, she returned again after five years to the television industry by participating in Colors TV’s dance show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
