Biography
Shilpa was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra in 1977. She studied at Canossa High School, Mumbai. She graduated from Ramnarain Ruia College. Her first television appearance was in 1993 with a Kiley Ka Rahasya episode of the show Byomkesh Bakshi on Doordarshan. After her debut, she played Ranjana in the serial Shanti in 1994. Her career debuted on Marathi Television with the Marathi show Vaibhav. Shilpa has worked in more than 100 television shows in her career and includes popular names like Jana Na Dil Se Door, Jaana Na Dil Se Door, Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai, Hero-Bhakti Hi Shakti Hai, etc.
Apart from cinema, Tulaskar made notable films like Devaki (2001), Dombivali Fast (2005) and Kalchakra (2008).
