Shritama Mitra was born on September 10 in Calcutta, West Bengal, into a middle-class Hindu family. She is the daughter of singer Subrata Mitra and Kakoli Mitra. Her elder brother’s name is Koushik Mitra. She graduated from Sivanath Sastri College, University of Calcutta.
Biography
Career
Shritama started her acting career in the television industry in the romantic family drama series Ki Kore Bolbo Tomay as Soumi Basu alongside Swastika Dutt and Krushal Ahuja in 2019. Afterwards, Shritama got the opportunity to play the lead role of Tirthaa Chatterjee in Zee Bangla’s detective series Pandab Goenda. She starred in the show with Rob Dey, Anumita Dutt and Rishav Chakraborty.
Shritama gained immense popularity for playing the character of Doyel Basu in the romantic drama series Mon Dite Chai with Arunima Halder, Writwik Mukherjee and Somashri Bhattacharyya in 2023.
