Shriya Jha was born on June 10, 1992 in Mussoorie, Dehradun. He studied at Guru Nanak Fifth Centenary School, Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. After completing his studies, he obtained his graduation degree from Dehradun University.
Career
Shriya Jha started her career when she first appeared in the Telugu film Gita in 2008. After debuting in the film industry, she made her debut in the television series Uttaran in 2008. Additionally, Shriya worked in many Bengali films and hate films like Tomar Jonyo. , Olot Palot, Luckakali, Shatru Sanghar and many more.
Shriya’s television career began when she first played the lead role of Angana Raichand in the hit television drama Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga in 2018. The same year, she played the role of Madhavi in Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se. In 2019, Shriya played the role of Chameli in the popular show ‘Uttaran’. As Chameli, she brought the character’s gray tones to life with style. Taking on a variety of roles, Shriya showcased her acting range.
She was then cast as Sweety in Nimki Mukhiya, a fun-loving protagonist and sister-in-law of the main character. Her interpretation of Sweety’s positive qualities captivated viewers. When the show was renewed as Nimki Vidhayak in 2019. In 2020, Shriya further diversified her acting portfolio by starring in Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein as Mohana Banerjee. Unlike her previous roles, she gracefully portrayed a calmer but strong character. Later in 2021, Shriya appeared in Ziddi Dil Maane Na, where she played the role of Barkha Shergill.
