Who is the woman who created a record for having 38 teeth?

Kalpana Balan now holds the record for the most teeth in a woman’s mouth, surpassing the average number of adults by six.
The mother of one has four extra mandibular (lower jaw) teeth and two extra maxillary (upper jaw) teeth, according to Guinness World Records. Kalpana’s extra teeth gradually began to emerge during her teenage years, one by one.
When did you discover your extra teeth?
Despite not feeling any pain, he had difficulty eating as food often got stuck between his extra teeth. When his parents discovered the extra set of teeth, they were shocked and advised him to have them extracted.
However, Kalpana’s dentist advised her to wait until the teeth grew longer because they could not be easily extracted, according to GWR. Mrs. Balan decided to keep her teeth even when they had fully grown because she was afraid of surgery.
What did you have to say about the world record?
“I am very happy to obtain the Guinness World Records title,” Ms Balan commented after achieving the achievement. “It’s the achievement of my life.”
Ms. Balan’s file may be expanded in the future because she has two unfilled teeth.
How common is this condition around the world?
Evano Mellone of Canada holds the men’s record for this championship, with a total of 41 teeth.
“Hyperdontia or polydontia is the medical term for the presence of extra teeth.” One or more supernumerary teeth affect up to 3.8% of the world’s population.
Although the exact etiology of hyperdontia is unknown, it is caused by a defect in the tooth development process. According to GWR, “Supernumerary teeth are thought to develop from an extra tooth bud arising near a normal tooth bud, or possibly from the division of a normal tooth bud.”
