Sneha Tomar was born on September 9, 1997 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in a middle-class Hindu family. Her mother’s name is Usha Tomar. She has three brothers named Rahul Tomar, Nikita Rajput and Hitesh Rajput in the family.
Sneha started her dream of acting while studying in college. She was always fascinated by acting. In 2017, she moved to Mumbai and landed her first breakthrough role in the daily soap Laado 2, which was a sequel to the 2009 series Na Aana Is Des Laado. She rose to fame after appearing as Kajal in the Radhika Muthukumar, Avinash Mukherjee, Tanya Sharma and Karan Sharma starrer television series Supernatural Sasural Simar Ka 2.
