Biography
SOLsong was born in Saginaw, Michigan into a family of musicians. Her mother, grandmothers, and her aunts were avid singers, and one of her aunts is a famous blues singer. Her father is of Latin descent but he left the family in his childhood. SOLsong also spent a year in Spain and learned to perform flamenco music.
SOLsong studied classical music at Eastern Michigan University, where he met the love of his life, Melissa Kalnasy. Two fellow musicians, this couple has been together for 11 years. In 2022, she participated as a contestant on the singing show The Voice 22, broadcast on NBC.
