Soundarya started her career with the comedy-drama film Meeruthiya Gangsters in 2015. She appeared in the thriller Ranchi Diaries as Gudiya, whose dream is to become a public sensation. Soundarya debuted with the action-crime television miniseries Raktanchal as Roli in 2020. She was inspired by the real-life events of Purvanchal in the 1980s.
