Sritama started her career by first appearing in Agnipariksha as Binni, which aired on Zee Bangla TV channel in the year 2009. She later worked in some serials like Basabdatta Chatterjee as Devi Sati and Guriya Jekhane GUddu Sekhane Mohua opposite Jettu Kamal. and Arya Dasgupta. Sritama rose to fame for the supporting role of Agomoni in the romantic drama series Prothoma Kadambini aired on Star Jalsha television channel.
In 2022, Sritama rose to fame in Zee Bangla’s romantic drama series Sohag Jol, where she was seen as the female lead Ankita alongside Lopakudra Sinha and Shweta Bhattacharya. The series is directed by Suman Das and Sumalya Bhattacharya.
