Steven McMorran is an American singer and songwriter. He is best known for participating in the 22nd season of the NBC reality singing show The Voice, judged by John Legend, Camila Cabello, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. He is originally from Little Rock, AR.
Biography
Steven McMorran was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. His father was a studio engineer and would take him to the studio to sing backing vocals and harmonies on the tracks. Steven graduated with honors from Little Rock Central High in 1999. Steven earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry; Instead of becoming a doctor, he decided to pursue music and moved to Los Angeles.
Steven formed the band Satellite and released an album in 2013. Shortly after, he moved with his family to Nashville and began writing songs full-time. He performed with various artists such as Nate Smith, Tim McGraw, Parmalee, Jimmie Allen, Joe Nichols and Avery Anna.
