Student Hospitalized After Horrific Beating Caught on Video Near Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School

A student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, the site of one of the country’s worst mass shootings, was savagely beaten by a gang of teenagers in a brutal attack caught on video, which landed the young man in the hospital.

The unidentified student was beaten by at least a half-dozen teenage bullies before being picked up and thrown headlong onto the pavement near the Parkland, Florida, campus, leaving him motionless on the ground, video posted by TMZ on Wednesday shows.

Two teenagers are then seen checking on the injured student, who appears to be unconscious on the ground, the video shows.

coral springs said the police in X that officers responded to a report of a fight at the school around 3 p.m. Tuesday and arrived to find the young man battered in the parking lot.

The student was taken to North Community Park Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

In an email to parents, Principal Michelle Kefford said the school is taking the attack very seriously.

Police have not announced any arrests in the incident and urged witnesses to come forward.

Former student Nikolas Cruz was sentenced to 17 life sentences last year for the Valentine’s Day massacre.

Police said Cruz stormed the school with an AR-15 assault rifle and opened fire, spraying defenseless victims with bullets and, in some cases, circling to finish off the wounded.

On February 15 of this year, a day after the fifth anniversary of the shootings, the school was placed on lockdown after educators received a “suspicious phone call.”
