Biography
Tanu Vidyarthi was born on March 25, 1986 in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. She completed her schooling from Loyola High School, Jamshedpur and then fled to Delhi to graduate from Delhi University. Tanu always had a dream of making a career in the glamor industry. She began her career as a model in television commercials and fashion events. She landed her first acting role in the release of the 2011 Bollywood film Chillar Party, directed by Vikas Bahl. She later also made a cameo appearance in the Tamil film Thalaiva, starring Vijay.
As of 2016, Tanu predominantly started in the television industry and first appeared in Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka? Like Divya. She later also took up the important role of Sultana Begum in Akbar Ka Bal Birbal. In 2021, she worked in the Colors television show Sirf Tum, starring alongside Vivian Dsena and Eisha Singh.
