Biography
Teja Kakumanu was born in Amaravathi, Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh. She earned a Master’s Degree in Performing Arts from Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University and during her stay there, Ella Teja studied acting and directing. After obtaining her degree, Teja started appearing in stage shows, television serials and films in various languages such as Telugu, Tamil and Kannada.
After working in stage shows, Teja got the opportunity to debut in the hit film Baahubali: The Beginning, where he played the role of Saketudu in 2015. That same year, he also served as an associate director in the film Bhale Manchi Roju. Since then, he has acted in several other films including Bheemla Nayak, Aakashavaani, Mukhachitram and Thanu Vachenanta. Teja has become a highly respected name in the South Indian film industry, impressing audiences with his wonderful acting skills and versatile roles.
In 2023, Teja made headlines for playing a supporting actor role in Hotstar’s new Telugu series Save The Tigers.
