Along with the couple, police also arrested registered sex offender Jarrod Kirkus, 40, after Snapchat messages revealed that Spaeth had approached him about abusing his daughter and left them alone together in his home, he said. police.

The disturbing case against the trio unfolded on August 1, when police responded to a call at Oak Terrace Apartments.

Inside one of the apartments, police found Kirkus alone with the 10-year-old daughter, and the sex offender was arrested on a warrant for distribution of child pornography.

When officers realized there was no connection between Kirkus and the boy, their investigation led them to Spaeth, who admitted that she facilitated the meeting between her daughter and the sex offender.
