With a variety of configurations and models to choose from, including those with Apple’s new M1 CPU, getting a good deal on a MacBook or Mac Mini isn’t hard, especially with Black Friday and Cyber Monday approaching.
We’ll go over the current discounts for the latest MacBook models, as well as any Mac Mini deals that are currently available. Of course, older Intel-based systems, which are compatible with the recently released macOS Monterey, are frequently discounted and we’ll point them out when we find out.

THE BEST MACBOOK AIR DEALS
Apple’s basic laptop is the MacBook Air. With a comfortable keyboard, good trackpad, and all-day battery life, it’s best suited for normal productivity work. For quiet, efficient performance, the latest model uses the Apple-designed M1 processor and is fanless. It checks all the criteria in terms of performance and cost, making it our top pick for the best laptop in 2021.
The M1 CPU comes with 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD in the standard MacBook Air. It usually costs $999, but is currently on sale for $900 at Amazon and Best Buy. The $1,249 512GB version is also on sale for $1,150 at Amazon and Best Buy in all three colorways, which is its second-lowest price to date. These deals can come and go quickly, but as the holiday shopping season approaches, we expect to see more.
THE BEST MACBOOK PRO DEALS
Apple announced a new M1 line of CPUs, as well as improvements to the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro, at its “Unleashed” presentation last month. We recommend that anyone in the market for a new laptop consider picking one up as soon as these great laptops are discounted in price, as they are likely to sell out quickly.
MacBook Pro with Touch Bar has more sizes and options than the Air, and is designed for more demanding use cases. The 13-inch M1-powered model is the entry-level model, with a brighter screen, longer battery life, and a built-in fan to maintain performance under heavy loads. The M1 MacBook Pro 13 is normally $1,299, but Amazon is about $200 off the base model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, bringing it down to $1,100. The larger 512GB model is also on sale on Amazon for $1,349, which is the lowest price it’s ever been.
Of course, you can still buy older MacBook Pro models, like the 13-inch model from mid-2020. The older Intel-powered laptop has four Thunderbolt connections, Windows bootcamp-ready Ice Lake processors, the current keyboard with power switch scissor, more RAM and different storage options. The 13-inch model is currently available on Amazon in a variety of configurations, including one with a 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and 512GB of storage for $1,999 and another with 1TB of storage and a 10th Gen Intel Core i5 processor. 10th Gen 2.0 GHz for $1,500. , which is more than $500 off the original price.
The latest 2019-generation MacBook Pro 16 is still on sale if you want a bigger laptop with more power, but it’s been beaten in pretty much every category since the debut of the new MacBook Pros with the M1 Pro and M1 Max CPUs. . The 16-inch variant with an Intel Core i9 CPU and 1TB of storage is still available for $2,299 at Best Buy. Deals are few and far between outside of that.
THE BEST MAC MINI DEALS
The Mac Mini is an inexpensive desktop running macOS that’s not an Apple laptop. It doesn’t come with a screen, keyboard, or mouse (so you’ll have to buy those separately), but if portability isn’t a concern, this little machine packs a punch. It’s fast and efficient, and it’s equipped with Wi-Fi 6.
The MacBook Mini, like the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 13, is powered by Apple’s new M1 CPU. It starts at $699 and goes up from there depending on your RAM and storage options. The best deal on the basic Mac Mini can be found at Amazon, where the 256GB model is $649 and the 512GB variant is $750. The 512GB variant is also available for the same price at Costco, but no another store offers the offer.
