Apple, a Cupertino-based tech company, is rumored to be working on an iPhone 15 Pro Max with very thin bezels around the display. A report says that the iPhone 15 Pro Max may have a front display with bezels that are only 1.55mm (0.06in) thick. This would make it the smartphone with the thinnest bezels ever made.
Ice Universe, an insider, recently posted on Twitter: “iPhone 15 Pro Max will break the 1.81mm bezel black edge record held by Xiaomi 13, and we measure its cover plate’s black bezel width to be only 1.55mm”. iS22 and S23: 1.95mm; iPhone 14 Pro: 2.17mm)”.

Last week, videos of the front glass of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max leaked online. These videos showed that the bezels around the screen would be very thin. Also, Apple will likely only put its Always On and ProMotion display features on the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
It was also said that only the iPhone 15 Pro models will be able to connect to the Wi-Fi 6E network. There will likely be new features on the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, like solid-state buttons with haptic feedback, a titanium frame, and more RAM.
Earlier, a Macrumors report also said that the standard bezels on the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus probably won’t change in any obvious way. Like the iPhone 11 series, the bezels on all four iPhone 15 models are likely to have a slight curve around the edges.
The report also said that the volume up and volume down buttons on the iPhone 15 Pro models could be combined into one button instead of having two separate buttons. With the new volume control, the volume can be changed by where the button is pressed.
The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max were also said to have new features, such as solid-state buttons with haptic feedback, a titanium frame, and more RAM.
more changes are coming
Apple users will see big changes with the iPhone 15 series. With iOS 17 coming to these devices, there will be a lot of big changes to comply with the new EU regulations. Also, EU rules mean that new devices will also have USB Type-C. A new law says USB Type-C ports must be on all devices by 2024. Apple doesn’t like the idea of having to do something against your will. So you’re installing the USB Type-C port before the new rules take effect.
But it looks like Apple is going to add some kind of secret technology to its USB Type-C standard. USB Type-C will be a bit different for iPhones, just like Lightning is exclusive to Apple products. However, this is just a rumor, and you may still be able to transfer data and charge your device with a regular USB Type-C cable.
Telephoto camera and 3NM SOC
This year, all three iPhone 15 models will be available in September. They will look the same, and there are rumors that lower-end models will get better cameras. But with a telephoto camera, the iPhone 15 Pro Max should be even better. Still, there will be a lot of differences in the CPUs. Last year’s A16 Bionic chip will be in the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus.
The iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max will use a new Apple A17 chip made using 3nm technology. Some rumors also say that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be renamed iPhone 15 Ultra. We have yet to find out if that is true. Keep in mind that until a few days before its release, the iPhone 14 Plus was called the 14 Max.
