The Miss Universe 2023 contestants arrived at a community in La Unión, El Salvador, but they did not approach the inhabitants and reached where there was a pavement street.
A group of queens became a trend on social networks after a video was broadcast in which they are seen arriving at a humble place.
Dressed in luxurious dresses, heels and jewelry, the girls, including Miss Honduras, went to greet the inhabitants of La Unión; However, the Miss Universe organizers did not allow people to approach.
They also did not let them move towards where the dirt street was to interact with the people who were admiring them and taking photographs of them.
Several users on social networks described the scene as a “human safari.”
