VR Game Competition Will Give Away Reward Worth Rs 12 Lakh

A leader in immersive virtual experience, Zero Latency, is launching their first-ever global competition. The contest will be powered by HTC Vive. The game is on now till the 6th of September, with the grand finale of the contest taking place on October 5.
Although most believe that VR games are to be enjoyed at home, alone. But you are mistaken, Kevin. All the fun of the VR experience is playing in cahoots. With Zero Latency’s competition, players will be given a huge arena-like setting for a battlefield where they could freely roam.
Players will compete in this contest and will be transported to a new world, offering a new level of immersive experience like no other. VR champs from around the world will participate in the battle to compete for the winning prize worth nearly Rs 12.5 lakh (USD 15,000).
So, if you have been fantasising about a walk around the Eiffel Tower or visualising soaking your feet in some warm Japanese Onsen, then this is your chance to have it all through your own grit and talent as a VR master.
Who Can Apply?
Anyone above the age of 18 is allowed to be a participant in the competition. All you have to do is kill as many zombies as you can in the Undead Arena to throw your hat in the ring for the big prize.
During the battle, you will have a number of weapons in your arsenal with that you will also have surroundings you can turn into traps and a team of players working with you. The only gag of the competition is that you will be pitted against the top zombie hunters in your region.
The players will be divided into three regions – America, Europe and the Middle East and Asia Pacific. If you become the top slayer in your region then you will be invited over to Las Vegas to compete for the “Champion of the Undead” title.
However, if you do end up falling out in the middle of the contest, remember that even the two runner-ups in Las Vegas plus two runners up in each region will receive an HTC VIVE XR Elite worth Rs 91,000 (USD 1,099).
