Tonni Laha Roy was born on July 27, 1993 in Kolkata, West Bengal, in a Hindu family. Her father’s name is Partha Pratim Laharoy and her mother’s name is Sudeshna Laha Roy. Tonni started her career through the Bengali television series Tumi Robe Nirobe, directed by Rajendra Prasad Das in 2015. She was seen playing the role of Dighi Mukherjee alongside Shweta Bhattacharya, Suchismita Chowdhury and Anashua Majumdar. She later got the opportunity to play an important role in Ajob Premer Golpo, Tekka Raja Badshah and Bene Bou.
In 2021-22, he played the negative lead role in Zee Bangla’s show Mithai, starring alongside Soumitrisha Kundu and Adrit Roy.
