Former President Donald Trump says he plans to testify in his own defense when his criminal cases go to trial next year.
The 77-year-old faces a total of 91 charges in four criminal cases, all while seeking another term in the White House.
If convicted on all counts, the 2024 Republican frontrunner faces a staggering 712 years and six months behind bars.
“Oh yes, absolutely,” Trump said Wednesday in an interview on The Hugh Hewitt Show.
“I really want, I really want to testify. At the trial I will testify,” she insisted.
However, the former commanding officer, who has attacked special counsel Jack Smith as “unhinged,” told Hewitt that he was not going to say everything he was willing to tell the jury.
“If you do and they ask you on the stand, did you order someone to move boxes, how will you respond?” the talk show host asked.
“I’m not going to answer that question for you, but I am fully covered by the law,” Trump replied.
“If you read the Presidential Records Act, just read it. Check it out. I am fully covered by the law. It is a civil act. It’s civilized. Now Biden did not have any civil actions,” he continued.
“The things he did are criminal. But he doesn’t have anyone upset in his case. You know, they gave me the deranged Jack Smith. He has a man who is a normal person. What can I tell you?”

“His body is hurt and his mind is worse,” Trump said.
“And yet he seems to want to do it. And I hope it does. But she seems to want to do it. But if you look at him, you will see that he does not run the government. The people around him, who are very smart fascists and communists, are the people who run our country.”
