Telangana Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao then ordered rescheduling of the Group 2 exam. Therefore, a meeting was arranged with Telangana State Public Service Commission Chairman and Secretary and Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari , and then decided to postpone the TSPSC Group 2 exam until November.

Reason for postponement of TSPSC Group 2 exam

The reason for the postponement of the Group 2 exam is the protest of the candidates against a very short preparation time. After all the interested and eligible candidates filled out the application form, the exam date was released and the gap between them was shallow.

But this gap was very short and candidates cannot prepare for the exam at this time. So, they started asking the commission to extend the exam date, but the authorities did not listen to them. The candidates then started the protest, which was later heard by the Chief Minister and it was decided to postpone the 2023 Group 2 exam.

Now after the exam date has been revealed, candidates will need the TSPSC Group 2 admit card which they will need to carry to the examination hall. It will be strictly mandatory to bring this admission to the examination hall as it will be reviewed by the exam invigilator and only then the candidates will be allowed entry.

TSPSC Group 2 Exam Pattern

After the protest, candidates should prepare well for the TSPSC Group 2 exam 2023. This question paper will be in three languages: English, Telugu and Urdu and will have a total of 600 marks in the first stage. This will have four assignments with 150 points each and 75 points in the second stage.

The duration of each assignment will be 2 hours and 30 minutes, and there will be 150 questions in each assignment. So there will be a mark for each question and you should also know that the paper will contain negative marks so candidates should answer the questions carefully.
