The Delhi metro is no less chaotic than your average desi home. The public treats the metro, which runs throughout India’s capital, as if it were their personal taxi at times. Sometimes, videos of Delhiites engaging in some of the strangest behaviors go viral on social media, reminding people living outside the state that they had better stay away from Delhi.

Delhi Metro Kalesh: Women throw punches as police break up fight

In a recent episode of kalesh in public, two women were seen ‘undressing each other’. Although the reason for the fight is still unclear, it is estimated that the two women got into a fight after a misunderstanding and a quick outburst.
In the video, the women are seen pulling their hair while one threw punches at the other while she was sitting in a seat inside the subway. The other woman was standing and trying to assert dominance over her, although the people helping her sit down were holding her back.
A man and another woman became involved in the fight and attempted to block the younger woman, preventing her from retaliating. Even with two people trying to intervene in the fight, the fight was nowhere close to being resolved. That’s when a police officer was called to the scene.

The police officer tried to convince the two women to get off the train and resolve the matter peacefully on the platform. However, the women had no intention of resolving their misunderstanding and could only worry about getting revenge on each other. Aside from the two who seemed to be in cahoots with the older woman, no one else on the subway tried to stop the fight and just sat there watching them collide.
The video was posted on X, formally Twitter, on the popular page @GharKeKalesh with the caption: “Kalesh inside Delhi Metro in black and white. “Two women and a police officer interfere.” People on the Internet had the time of their lives laughing at the two women in the video.
