UCEED 2024 Registration
Those who wish to sit for the UCEED 2024 Exam to take Bdes Courses at the best IIT Universities in India need to register first on the authorized website. The registration form will soon be available to fill out. Once you successfully register on the portal, you will be allowed to fill out the application form.

UCEED Application Form 2024
The supervisory authority will publish the UCEED application form on its official portal and candidates will be able to apply for the nationwide entrance exam online. The actual date for the release of the application form is yet to be notified but it was expected to come out in September 2023. Those who meet the eligibility conditions can fill the form and upload the necessary documents given in it to complete their candidacy for the exam.
Candidates should be very conscious while filling the application form and should double check all the details they filled so that they do not face any problem later. Submitting false information and documents with the intent to deceive authorities may lead to legal action against you.
UCEED Application Fee 2024
When you are satisfied with all the details completed, you will now need to pay the designated fee based on your category. The application fee for the current year is yet to be specified and you will be notified when the notification is published on the authentic portal. But if the UCEED application fee is stagnant this year, you will need to pay Rs 3500 via any online payment mode. The application fee for SC, ST, PwD and female aspirants is halved which is Rs 1750.
The important thing to remember when making your payments is to pay the fee on time before the due date mentioned in the notice. In no case will any application form be accepted with late payments.
Steps to Apply for UCEED 2024
The step by step process to complete your application process is outlined below. Check it out if you are applying for the first time.
- Record: Candidates who wish to sit for the entrance exam need to open the authorized portal of IIT Bombay and click on the registration link. Clicking will open the registration form, where you will need to enter your email ID. This will redirect you to another page where you will need to enter your basic personal details like your name, date of birth, gender, contact number, etc. Next, select and confirm a password for the applicant’s new account.
- Log in to the Portal: Once you complete your registration, you must use your login credentials to access the portal.
- Complete the application form: After logging into the portal, you will receive the UCEED 2024 application form on the tracking page. Start filling all the details indicated in the application form such as educational qualifications, category, email address, disabled status, etc.
- Select the test center: Candidates will have the option to select three examination centers in the order of their preference. You should be careful when choosing as later modifications will not be allowed in any condition.
- Attest to the necessary documents: Applicants must upload the documents listed on the form to be uploaded. The necessary documents are a recent passport-sized photograph, signature, category certificate, qualification exam certificates, etc.
- Review and submit application: When you have finished entering all the details and uploading the required documents, you should now review the application one more time so that if you make any false mistakes, they can be corrected.
- Make the payment of the UCEED 2024 fee: When you confirm that your application form is correct, you make your payments. Payment of the application fee must be made online. Full details on the fee structure for applicants in different categories are provided in the next paragraph.

Eligibility for UCEED 2024
Before completing the application form, please check all the eligibility conditions in our paragraph.
Criterion 1: Educational Qualification Status: Candidates must have passed the class 12 or equivalent examination from any recognized board in 2022 or, for the first time in 2023, be eligible for the entrance examination. Please note that applicants who qualify for the higher secondary examination in 2021 cannot fill out the application form.
Criterion 2: Age restrictions: Candidates belonging to OPEN, EWS, OBC and NCL categories must have been born on or after October 1, 1998, while for those belonging to SC, ST or PwD categories, the deadline is October 1, 1993.
Criterion 3: Number of attempts: Applicants can take the UCEED exam only twice in consecutive years. Additionally, the grades obtained in the exam are valid only for one year in the same academic year.
UCEED 2024 Exam Pattern
The UCEED exam will be conducted in both computer mode and paper and pencil mode. The exam will be carried out in two parts, Test I and Test II. Applicants will be given three hours to solve the work. The questionnaire weighs 300 points and has a negative score for the wrong answer.
The detailed pattern including question type, marking scheme and other related things will be notified to students through the notice posted on the official site.
