What did this man from the UK do?
In the UK, a man surprised his wife by presenting her with a £700 bill (around ₹73,955) after spending six hours deep cleaning their shared home.
Marc Hatch, the owner of cleaning company Clean Me, jokingly sent the bill to his wife Jasmine as a joke after she completed the task of deep cleaning their home where they live with their three children.
Jasmine found the request so entertaining that she decided to skip the payment.
On Facebook, he recounted a recent incident in which a customer refused to pay the bill. His post read: ”We ran into an unfortunate situation last week when a customer refused payment!
Despite successfully cleaning an oversized corner sofa, carpets in three bedrooms, and a stone floor, the customer initially expressed satisfaction with the results. It seemed like a positive response, at least at first.”
He also posted a screenshot of the bill he jokingly sent to his wife Jasmine, 34, via WhatsApp.
The message in the chat read: “Hi Jasmine, look for your payment link after yesterday’s cleanup.”
Click the link and select your preferred payment method. Thank you for your attention.” In a humorous response, Jasmine said: “Get a grip, we are married and have three children.”
In response to her response, Mr. Hatch jokingly expressed his feigned dissatisfaction, jokingly complaining that cleaning was “hard work” and that he had spent “half a day” on the task.
