In 1960 Joan, who had married Patricio Bunster in 1954, decided to marry the young theater director, Víctor Jara, and her daughter Amanda was born, the only descendant of this relationship.
The dancer’s other daughter was Manuela, who was the product of the first relationship that the London-born woman had with Patricio Bunster, although some relate her as the daughter of Víctor Jara because they got along well, the truth is that she is not his . biological daughter.
