Vishavpreet was born on April 11 in a small village of Giddarbaha in Muktsar, Punjab. She completed her schooling from Dasmesh Girls Higher Secondary School, Badal, Punjab. She also graduated in Fashion Designing from Chandigarh and opened a boutique there.
Kaur moved to Mumbai and learned acting at Jaspal Bhatti’s acting school. In 2009 she made her television debut with the series Thank You Jijaji alongside Jaspal Bhatti. She later worked in several television shows like Ek Veer Ki Ardaas Veera, Ishq Mein Marjawan, Ishqbaaaz and Kaleerein.
