Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma recently broke away from the usual political appearances and took center stage for an exciting musical performance in lieu of a political speech.
At a public meeting, the captivating leader showed off his talent by performing a guitar solo from “Iron Maiden.”
The crowd was captivated by this unexpected fusion of heavy metal and government, which offered a welcome insight into the complex character of the public figure.
Sangma’s unorthodox performance, which featured resonant chords, not only showcased his musical abilities but also provided a distinctive link between politics and the pulsating intensity of rock music.
Conrad Sangma, the chief minister of Meghalaya, loves to play the electric guitar, as you can probably tell by following him on Instagram.
Sangma posted a new video where he can be heard performing the song “Wasted Years” by the English heavy metal band Iron Maiden.

“Another amazing evening. This time, it’s Iron Maiden,” Sangma captioned a photo.
Star musician Steve Harris founded Iron Maiden in east London in 1975.
Iron Maiden’s song “Wasted Years” marks their fourteenth single and, interestingly, the only track from their album Somewhere in Time without synthesizers.
