The situation became serious and Kumar’s condition was barely improving, prompting his father to consider postponing the wedding. However, when the bride, Anuradha, and her family visited the hospital to check on the groom-to-be, they came up with the idea that the couple could hold their ceremony inside the hospital itself.
The groom’s father told him TOI, “We were worried when my son fell ill and was admitted to the hospital’s high dependency unit. We were also tense because the bride’s family had made the necessary arrangements and the guests were already invited. However, the hospital accepted our request. “Once Avinash is fine, we can have a reception party.”
