The condition of the 28-year-old boy, Mattia Capriotti, was apparently critical as he was also struggling to breathe. A rescue team from 118 Potes of San Benedetto and the Yellow Cross of Monsampolo helped the two hit by the car and called an air ambulance to take them to a hospital. The air ambulance landed in the vicinity of the accident. Rescue tea stabilized the 28-year-old boy and transferred him to the air ambulance for transport to the Torretteto Trauma Center, where doctors tried to revive him, but were unable to revive him.
