Mayank Agarwal is out of danger and his recovery allows him to be discharged from hospital today.

Karnataka team manager Ramesh has stated that Mayank Agarwal is expected to reach Bengaluru in the afternoon. However, he noted that the cricketer will face temporary speech impediment for the next 48 hours due to ulcers and swelling.

Mayank’s health condition, stemming from an incident during a flight, requires this period of rest and recovery, limiting his ability to speak during this specific period of time.

After disembarking from a Delhi-bound Indigo flight at Agartala, Mayank Agarwal was immediately shifted to a private hospital.

In a statement, the hospital said that Mayank’s clinical condition is stable and he is under continuous observation and monitoring within the medical center.

IndiGo’s official statement on the incident involving Mayank Agarwal’s medical emergency on flight 6E 5177 from Agartala to Delhi is as follows:

“IndiGo flight 6E 5177 operating from Agartala to Delhi returned to origin due to a medical emergency on board. The passenger was unloaded and rushed to the hospital for further medical assistance. The aircraft resumed its journey towards the destination and took off again .at 4:20 p.m.”
