Trey Louis is an American singer and songwriter. He is best known for participating in season 21 of the singing reality show American Idol. The show is judged by Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. He is among the top 24 contestants on the show who received the Hollywood Golden Ticket.
Early life
Trey Louis was born and raised in Santa Fe, Texas. He is currently 22 years old. He works as a Sleep Expert at Santa Fe Mattress Firm. Louis is a survivor of the 2018 shooting at Santa Fe High School, which left eight students and two teachers dead.
Following the heartbreaking incident that occurred on May 18, 2018, Louis wrote a detailed post on his Instagram account chronicling his experience.
Trey realized after escaping through the school’s back door that he was the only one in his class who managed to escape. Many of his and Christian Riley García’s teachers died that day.
